The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to meet today with major stock exchanges such as NASDAQ, CBOE, and NYSE. The agenda of the meeting includes finalizing views on the 19b-4 forms submitted by applicants for Bitcoin spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).

Eric Balchunas, Senior ETF Analyst at Bloomberg, shared this news via X (formerly Twitter), stating that this development does not imply a rejection or delay of Bitcoin spot ETFs.

Additionally, Balchunas reported that the SEC is actively collaborating with the applicants of Bitcoin spot ETFs. They are working together to improve the 19b-4 form, a move interpreted by Balchunas as an indication that the SEC’s approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs may be close at hand.
