Bitwise has announced a reduction in the management fee for their spot Bitcoin ETF from 0.24% to 0.20%, with a fee waiver on the first $1 billion in assets or for the first six months. This move, reflecting anticipation of SEC approval, signals the start of a fee competition in the sector. Bitwise’s fee is now the lowest among its peers, with ARK 21Shares and VanEck setting their fees at 0.25%, and BlackRock planning to charge 0.30%. These fees are notably lower than the average management fee of 0.54% for ETF products in the United States.
